Dear Friend,
I hope this message meets you in good health, it is a gift denied many. I am Louay Al-Mokdad, who until a few years ago was an influential Syrian businessman and politician before the civil war broke out, that has reduced the entire country into rubbles, and a killing field.
Even though propositions like this abound all over the internet, which end up being fraudulent, where the hapless victim has his or her hopes built extraordinarily high, after which they eventually loose morale and confidence as a result of failed expectations.
The times are dire and the circumstances absolutely unbelievable here in Syria that is why this is a very different scenario. I am acting on behalf of my principal, a very influential and an erstwhile oil minister of Syria until 2012, when he became the highest-ranking government minister to defect to the opposition from tyrant president Bashar al-Assad's government after resigning from his position, and withdrawing from the ruling Ba'ath Party to join the revolution against a regime that has committed such violent and oppressive acts against its own people.

My principal right now is interested albeit discreetly in overseas investments, involving huge amount of funds, for which we seek your cooperation and involvement as our overseas partner, since the ongoing civil war in Syria has become protracted and the likelihood of it ending soon is not in sight with the Americans and Russians on different side of the divide.
A huge chunk of the proceeds has been earmarked for philanthropy both in your country and here in my country as a memoriam to the courageous and undying spirit of the Syrian people in the face of barbarism and heartless tyranny.
As deputy oil minister, my principal was able to influence major oil deals in his favour which resulted in huge amount of monies running into millions of dollars accruing to him, even though most of these monies where secretly deposited in foreign financial institutions to avoid the prying eyes of financial regulatory authorities.
When he defected from the regime of Al-Assad to the opposition, his local accounts were frozen and properties seized including real estates. He immediately went into hiding and has been in hiding ever since denying him opportunity to elope from the country or gain access to his money.
My principal is not free to move about because President Bashar al-Assad killer squad is seeking to exterminate him and his likes, a lot of his former colleagues have already been killed or are serving lengthy jail sentences in harrowing conditions.
We are of the conviction that you shall be truthful enough to provide correct details about your person since our options are few and far between. Upon your positive response, we shall discuss:
A. How you/your Company will be introduced to the holding bank and have you legitimately documented as the beneficiary of the funds.
B. Investing on our behalf in your country.
